Connecting Stars Release New Video For Single, Stuck

Channeling their inner Americana in the heartfelt video for Stuck, South Africa’s electric husband and wife duo of Martin and Cheryl Engel, known as Connecting Stars, bring line dancing, cowboy hats and African gumboot dancing to the beach. The song, filled with swinging acoustic guitar, glockenspiel and catchy hooks is a genre – bending musical combination for fans of pop, folk, country and indie rock.  Stuck recently debuted at number 30 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart and is also charting on AC and college radio stations throughout the country. Their self-titled debut album is scheduled for release on August 26 2014 and the single is currently on-sale via www.connectingstars.com for a limited time.

Filmed in their native coastal town of Durban, South Africa, the new video is the perfect visual accompaniment to their unforgettable song, Stuck. The light-hearted video features the band performing on a pier on a warm summer day and is bound to warm hearts around the globe.

The twelve bittersweet tracks on Connecting Stars take listeners on a musical and lyrical journey spanning the lofty highs and crushing lows of love found, lost or betrayed as well as the confusion and helplessness when loved ones pass away or suffer needlessly.
