Filligar Release New Track, Motor Shine

After being named one of Spin Magazine’s Next Big Things, nominated for an Independent Music Award for their album The Nerve as well as releasing 2013’s Hexagon, alternative rock quartet Filligar– made up of three brothers (Johnny, Pete and Teddy

Mathias) and long-time friend Casey Gibson – have announced a new cross country tour along with releasing a brand new track from their upcoming 2014 album. Motor Shine, which premiered on Paste Magazine, showcases the band’s always developing sound which has been changing since the band’s inception over ten years ago and was inspired by the band’s recording studio, crafted in an old boat warehouse by the beach in Venice, CA. The band, who has been listed along with Wilco and Delta Spirit as One of America’s Top 8 Live Acts (Boston’s RSL Music Blog) will be touring the country through July, making stops in Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and more.
