Chelsea Wolfe Announces UK and European Tour Dates With Russian Circles

Chelsea Wolfe has announced that she will be returning to the UK and Europe this October and November as part of a co-headline run with Russian Circles.

The LA artist recently came to the UK and sold-out London’s East end haunt, Cargo, leaving the audience deadly silent whilst playing tracks from her previous albums Apokolypsis and Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs as well as showcasing newer material that will appear on her forthcoming LP Pain Is Beauty which will be released on September 2 by Sargent House.

Chelsea Wolfe spoke of Pain is Beauty in a recent statement saying that the album is a self-described love letter to nature veering towards a more electronic direction that highlights her capacity to evolve and inspire. As Wolfe explains: “[The album] becomes an exploration of ancestry, how the mythology, landscapes and traditions of our ancestors affect our personalities today. Honesty is what initially drew me to music and I’ve been more honest and open with myself than ever through these songs. There is peace in truth. There is clarity in solitude. And there is power within simplicity and focus. Love is not always easy. Tormented love is something I understand more than society’s skewed idea of what love should be. Love is indelible, severe, earnest, merciful. To push forward against the odds is to make history”.

With a new album due and tour dates in the bag it’s time Chelsea Wolfe made her stand and portrayed her vision that’s sometimes a little misty and a little dark but ultimately there’s light to her exploration and a voice that’s simply stunning.
