Following a sold out show to ecstatic crowds at the Lexington a couple of weeks ago and a triumphant turn at Primavera, Cayucas have announced a European tour for September calling at the 100 Club in London on the 3rd.
The Californian five-piece have also revealed a playful new video for their latest single East Coast Girl, which was out last week. Directed by Steven Andrew Garcia, the video is a vibrant vision of summer fun. The band plays some pickup basketball, climb some rocks and communes with a buffalo head in this charming dispatch from their home state. You can watch the video here.
“Cayucas have a dynamic that just works,” says Garcia. “Zach’s a great songwriter and their talent really shines through on the new album. We all took a road trip to San Luis Obispo, stayed at a hotel together and worked out one shot at a time.” Of the video’s appealing aesthetic, he says: “I wanted to make something colourful and sharp.”
